Hablo Español I am a Nurse Practitioner, certified in Family medicine and Board certified in Psychiatric mental health. I have many years of experience working in the field of psychiatry. I have been fortunate to be exposed to settings such as emergency department, psychiatric inpatient and outpatient services, inpatient alcohol, and drug detoxification services. My experience has allowed me to interact with and to help patients with a wide range of conditions such as Schizophrenia, Major depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety disorder, PTSD and Substance use Disorder. As a Psychiatric Nurse practitioner, I have great respect for psychiatric patients. I see my job as helping to ease their suffering. Being a warm, courteous, emotionally sensitive person, from the first “Hello” I strive to build therapeutic alliances. Such alliances are among the most valuable ingredients of mental health treatment. From there I try to collect adequate information to make the proper assessment that will lead to a diagnosis and the formulation of a treatment plan. I truly believe that the essence of psychological healing is empathy, compassion, and intuition. That is why I always meet the patient where he/she is and build on his alliance toward the achievement of hers/his goals
